Covid-19 Safety at DATA:Scotland
As in-person events return throughout 2022, we want to ensure DATA:Scotland is a covid-19 safe event nd reassure speakers, sponsors and attendees that we are taking measures seriously to achieve that. Plans and govt. requirements will evolve in the lead up to the event. We commit to keeping this page up to date with the latest information.
General Safety measures
Everyone attending DATA:Scotland will be required to prove their Covid-19 status before entering the conference venue by providing either:
- Proof of vaccination / Vaccine Passport
- Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test taken within 24 hours of entry
This is also in-line with government guidance on large events. More info can be found on the Scottish government website.
Current government guidance states that masks are required to be worn indoors. This will be a requirement in all communal areas, auditoria, and session rooms. Further info can be found on the Scottish Government website.
Social distancing measures will be put in place and at the very minimum, adhere to Scottish government guidance.
Further details from the venue are expected on how catering will be handled for the event.
Stay home if you feel unwell
As much as we want to see you join us, we kindly ask you to respect everyone’s health and safety. If you feel at all ill – including mild cold symptoms or a high temperature – please stay at home. Our main auditorium track will be streamed live on YouTube for those who can not make the event.
