Covid-19 Safety at DATA:Scotland
As in-person events return throughout 2022, we want to ensure DATA:Scotland is a covid-19 safe event nd reassure speakers, sponsors and attendees that we are taking measures seriously to achieve that. Plans and govt. requirements will evolve in the lead up to the event. We commit to keeping this page up to date with the latest information.
General Safety measures
Entry requirements
Although guidance on vaccination and lateral flow tests have been relaxed by the Scottish Government we strongly encourage all attendees to take a test prior to the event to minimise the risk of infection. More info can be found on the Scottish government website.
Venue
Current government guidance states that masks are no longer required to be worn indoors. Masks will be available at the reception desks and attendees are free to wear a mask if they wish to do so. Further info can be found on the Scottish Government website.
Please refer to the University of Strathclyde’s guidance
Catering
Further details from the venue are expected on how catering will be handled for the event.
Stay home if you feel unwell
As much as we want to see you join us, we kindly ask you to respect everyone’s health and safety. If you feel at all ill – including mild cold symptoms or a high temperature – please stay at home. Our main auditorium track will be streamed live on YouTube for those who can not make the event.
