As Scotland’s data platform conference, we want to continually move forward as the technologies we use, learn, and teach evolve. The data platform reaches far beyond just SQL Server and this year’s sessions are a testament to that, reaching from Data Science, through PowerShell automation to a session on AWS.

We recognise that our identity doesn’t reflect that spectrum of technologies. ‘SQLGLA’ no longer encompasses the width and breadth of the data platform and the community around it and aligning ourselves more broadly with the Data community has been on our minds for a while now.
With the success of our first, full day, 24 session conference in September 2018, now is the time to make that leap.

We join other great, independent, Data Platform conferences such as DataGrillen in Germany, ‘Data in Devon’ and DataRelay in England, all embracing the change.
